This book needs no introduction. Every medical student knows about Harrison's (atleast those who have reached clinical sciences). It is probably the most famous of all medical books. One thing that immediately strikes a person when he sees the book is its "thickness". When I first saw it, I was like "Gosh, that's one big book." The book is thick, with lots of pages, the text is small, there's no gap between chapters and there's no blank space at all! It is enough for a student to have a heart-attack when you inform him "Dude, that's just Volume-I, there's one more volume of the same size!"

Times have changed and so should our approach. One should use a covenient way if available. An e-book of Harrison's would be an excellent example of how technology can makes things so convenient. You can carry it on your laptop, tablet or even mobile without any additional load at all. Regarding the contents of the book or it's usefulness, I can't comment because I haven't reached the clinical phase of my course yet.

This is the new 18th edition that was released in July 2011. You can download it in both chm and pdf formats. I recommend chm as it is better and more convenient once you get used to it. I've also mentioned that applications on iOS and Android that can run chm files. Feel free to comment if you face any problem.

To watch it, you have to install a virtual DVD software like DAEMON tool lite. Search it on Google and install it. Then mount the .iso file and run.
